Event Description

Critical Incident Stress Management: Group Crisis Intervention (DPH-126-1)

This 16 hour program is designed to present the core elements of a comprehensive, systematic, and multi-component crisis intervention curriculum and to specifically teach crisis intervention and Emergency Mental Health skills such as demobilizations, defusing, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. The two-day course prepares participants to understand pre and post incident crisis education, on-scene support services, crisis intervention for individuals, demobilizations after large-scale traumatic incidents, and more on Critical Incident Stress Management Group Crisis Intervention.
