DeconIQ addresses the current issues with Decon by leveraging scientific principles, including chemical and physical properties, as well as empirical data from various military, academic, and government sources. This system empowers trained decontamination technicians to formulate actionable decontamination plans in as little as 1-2 minutes. At its core are a series of charts enabling users to quickly identify appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), relevant decontamination strategies, effective decontamination agents, dwell times, and the selection of meters for validation and confirmation of decontamination efforts. DeconIQ is the culmination of extensive research, product familiarization, discussions with manufacturers of decontamination
agents and meters, and decades of hands-on field experience.
