Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) (DPH-123)

A eight-hour course that teaches skills & information to assess & stabilize the burn patient at the scene of an emergency in preparation for transport to the nearest appropriate emergency facility. The course addresses: medical control, scene safety, multiple casualties, initial assessment, smoke inhalation injury, circulation, electric injury, chemical injury & pediatrics.
